Why taurine
Cats can't make enough taurine on their own, unlike dogs and people, so it has to come from their food. Cooking and heat processing strip a lot of it out. If you feed raw, homemade, grain-free, fish or rabbit diets, or you add organs and aren't sure how much your cat is really getting, it's hard to know if she's covered.
Why a liquid
When I started looking at taurine for cats, most of what I found was powder. Powder means a scoop and a guess, and a lot of cats simply won't eat food with powder in it. A dose she doesn't eat isn't a dose.
